hmmm i thought i'd give you all a big load of love as i put in my first new entry for this school year! ( yeah yeah starting early) well can i just say that I am so excited about rush! last year we did pretty good i think i mean we won 3rd place in derby days and 3rd place in greek week and a bunch of other trophies from greek week. However hopefully this year will be better! i'm trying to help chelsey with getting something for pep supper we're not sure yet we have the idea of noise sticks, and everyone bringing a lion and roaring! we're not sure if we're going to do either one of them but atleast we're brain storming!
so here's some goals i have for the sorority this year:
- get some kind of spirit thingy for pep supper
- start asap for pepsupper once we find out theme
- get lots of spirit from the girls now that everyone will be attending
- hopefuly have someone order the new girls jerseys asap so they can wear them for spirit for pep
- make the recording secretary posistion work out and do really good with the point system, and the ( pinky system) maybe change the name though its an idea i got from alysia that she got off the website i really like it!
- win a borelli ( go ansley for best new member last year)
- maybe try to get if not the same than 1 or 2nd place in derby days and greek week
- so wooooooooooooo thats some of my goals right now i think they're pretty muchly everyones goals though so nothing special * pout*
anyways i am so glad i have finally gotten the professor files done it took forever to type up like 200 classes but then i'm such a dork i went through and took the average score of everyones classes, and then individual subjects, and then did it for teachers mentinoed more than 2! i think it'll be a cute presentation though!and i had andy help me print them off on the computer so i didn't have to write them or cut and paste! they look much better than if i would have done anything of the above
for recording secretary i've already gotten all the girls names written in and the first few days of rush workshop and rush! I'M SO EXCITED
still need to get in touch with sam to set a date for us to work on the sisterhood video i might try to call her in a few sent her an email last night though
tomorrow i'll be getting the boards and looking for sticker options and going over the points system ( mainly for myself)
then i'll be working on a little sheet for our new girls on what W's are and WF's and all that kinda stuff try to get it now so i can pass it by tracy and alysia . I want to try to implement scholarship to our new girls since that's one of the things that i think needs to be worked on with them.
hopefully talk to kelly before to long about puttin together the lil things for our part and stuff
but anyways just wanted to type this up so now i can come back and see my list of goals and my list of things to do so i can review and hopefully say by the end of next year that i've accomplished most of them!
anyways i'm excited about rush girls and i can't wait to see you guys! hope your summers are going well!
